Xplor Education has announced the return of Xplor Horizons, its national early education conference, set to take place on Thursday 3 September 2026 at Evoque Events in Melbourne’s CBD.
Designed to bring together service leaders, operators and educators from across Australia, Xplor Horizons 2026 will deliver a full‑day experience focused on connection, insight and future‑focused thinking within the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector.

Building on the success of previous events, Horizons will welcome more than 100 attendees, including centre managers, regional leaders, support office teams and educators from services nationwide. The conference creates a dedicated space for the sector to step away from day‑to‑day operations and engage in meaningful discussion about the opportunities, challenges and innovations shaping early education.
“Xplor Horizons is about creating a space where the early learning community can genuinely connect,” said Richard North, Chief Commercial Officer at Xplor Education. “It’s an opportunity for leaders and educators to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and explore what the future of education looks like — together.”
The 2026 event will once again be hosted at Evoque Events, a centrally located Melbourne venue known for its contemporary design, sweeping city views and flexible conference spaces. Minor layout enhancements will be introduced this year to improve flow and maximise interaction between attendees and exhibitors, supporting deeper conversations and stronger outcomes for partners and sponsors.

In addition to the conference program, Horizons will feature an integrated exhibition experience, with catering, networking sessions and afternoon drinks all taking place within the exhibition space. This format is designed to foster natural, high‑value interactions throughout the day — not just between sessions.
Xplor Horizons 2026 is supported by a range of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, offering partners direct access to decision‑makers and influential voices across the ECEC sector. With national reach across Xplor and QikKids service networks, the event provides a platform for organisations to showcase their solutions while contributing to the ongoing growth and sustainability of early learning services.

The return of Horizons reflects Xplor Education’s continued commitment to supporting the ECEC community through connection, innovation and practical insight — at a time when collaboration across the sector has never been more important.
